Properties vary in size from relatively small, single floor establishments to huge skyscrapers and sprawled out resort settings. Because of this, there is no “one size fits all” radio for all scenarios, but we do recommend UHF radios in nearly every case for hotels and resorts.

Properties with 5-10 floors will be happy choosing a small, lightweight radio, while larger properties will need a 5 watt digital/analog radio or even a repeater capable model. We recommend a 16 channel radio for large properties, as this enables multiple user groups to have their own channel and avoid talking over other groups. Management staff may then enable a scanning feature and monitor all of the groups at once.
